Multi-Factor
Authentication
To establish multi-factor authentication without downloading the Microsoft app to your personal device, choose “other method” when navigating the multi-factor authentication tutorial. That will allow users to choose either text message or phone call.
If text message: You will receive notifications to your personal or work mobile phone and will have the ability to authorize and/or update passwords from anywhere.
If phone call: Users may enter a mobile number, direct office line or home number but this will restrict notifications to a static location.
If you have any issues, contact the WNMU IT Help Desk.
